Job Description
You will be the Systems Architect Sr Stf for the Systems Architecture Team which is responsible for shaping next‑generation autonomous capabilities for the Air Force.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Architect Principal, you will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of autonomy architecture across Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with industry partners to define and advance the autonomous‑system vision.
- Design an autonomy architecture that emphasizes interoperability, scalability, and future‑capability growth.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of software and systems engineers.
- Apply Digital Engineering principles (Cameo) to streamline development.
- Coordinate with Lockheed Martin Business Areas and Lines of Business to capture lessons learned and shape strategic direction.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience working directly with OMS/UCI
• Technical leadership experience (Chief Engineer/Architect, etc.)
• Experience leading technical proposals and authoring technical volumes
• Experience with Mission Planning, Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems
Desired skills
• Extensive experience with Cameo or other MBSE tools
• Demonstrated ability to influence others
• Experience with Mission Planning

• Experience with Data Links
• Experience with Mission Debrief
• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or Systems Engineering preferred)

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
