Location: Kuwait
Required Clearance: Secret
Certifications: DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III with a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) with the following Virtual Certifications (VCP6), or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA).
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED
Required Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a strategic DoD position engineering I.T. solutions for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X


Position Description:  


PingWind is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, integration, implementation, and lifecycle management of complex systems and enterprise architectures. This role oversees systems engineering teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and industry standards. The Systems Engineer Lead serves as the primary authority for systems architecture, integration, and performance optimization across multiple technical domains.

Primary Responsibilities:


Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
•    Provides operational support and requires proficiency and experience with the following technology areas and systems:  Port Security, IP Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Data Storage, Network Appliance Data Storage Filers, Near Store Appliance, SnapMirror, SnapRestore, SnapManager for Exchange, Virtual File Manager, AUDS, and Cloud Services
•    Ensures operational support and server administration involving the performance of component server and workstation connections, configuration, integration, and testing.
•    Lead the design and development of complex systems architectures, ensuring integration across hardware, software, networks, and operational processes.
•    Define system requirements, technical specifications, and design standards.
•    Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, scalability, and security requirements
•    Develop and manage system requirements documentation, technical baselines, and configuration management processes.

Required Qualifications

•    Secret
•    DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III with a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) with the following Virtual Certifications (VCP6), or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA).

This role plans and integrates signal capabilities across enterprise and tactical environments to ensure reliable, secure communications supporting command and control operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop long-term signal and communications strategies aligned with operational and organizational objectives.
• Plan and synchronize communications capabilities supporting command and control (C2) operations.
• Translate operational requirements into technical communications architectures.
• Plan and integrate enterprise and tactical communication systems, including voice, data, satellite, and wireless networks.
• Ensure interoperability between multiple communication platforms, networks, and mission systems.
• Support integration of new technologies into existing communication infrastructure.
• Develop communications plans and annexes supporting operational planning processes.
• Coordinate with operational, intelligence, and logistics planners to ensure communications capabilities support mission execution.
• Participate in operational planning teams and strategic planning initiatives.
