Under general supervision, performs one or more of the following activities: configuration management, system administration, security administration, network administration, development system implementation, production system implementation. Responds to issues related to environment, hardware, system, and/or software and implements resolution across technology areas. May support activities related to change management, outage management, and project management as well.

Job Specific Information:  

This is a mid-level position that will work on a continuous flow (Kanban) agile systems team supporting the pickup and delivery Agile Release Train. This person will need strong communications and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both internal and external team members to deliver functioning development and production environments, fully integrated deployment pipelines, and drive automation wherever possible. This person should be able to share their knowledge and coach others to help drive DevSecOps best practices with the below primary duties and responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of Linux, preferably RedHat Enterprise Linux
  • Prior experience managing and configuring Oracle WebLogic including SSL
  • Ownership and support of configuration management and deployment automation tools, including, Jenkins, Cloudbees, Fortify, and Sonar.
  • Design, test, configure, and troubleshoot infrastructure and solutions for various applications and configurations.
  • Identifies and creates processes to integrate technology improvements into business processes using tools such as GIT, ONE Automation, etc.
  • Remediation activities such as patch deployments and operating systems updates in a highly complex environment

Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming desired (Java)
  • Spring Framework
  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • JMS Publishing and Consuming
  • Understanding of various load balancing schemes
  • Scripting languages such as Bash, PowerCLI, Powershell, Perl, or Python
  • SAFe/Agile
  • Version One
 
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Two (2) years work experience in information technology or engineering environment.

Domicile:
  • Coraopolis, PA (Suburb of Pittsburgh)
  • The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
