You ensure HVAC systems perform exactly as designed. In this hands-on role, you test, adjust, and balance air and water (hydronic) systems to meet project specifications and industry standards. What You'll Be Doing
- Test, adjust, and balance (TAB) air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to meet design specifications.
- Inspect systems to verify compliance with project plans and identify performance issues.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data.
- Accurately document all testing, adjusting, and balancing activities using project-specific reporting procedures.
What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or GED required.
- NEBB or AABC certification preferred, but not required.
- Strong math skills, including calculations related to air and water (hydronic) balancing.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical documents, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
