Java Backend Developer (with UI Knowledge)

Experience: 8–12 Years

Location: Bangalore.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong UI understanding to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in backend services along with working knowledge of frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java
Build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
Work on UI technologies for basic enhancements and debugging
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices
Troubleshoot and debug production issues

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
Experience with REST APIs and web services
Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/React preferred)
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Experience with version control tools (Git)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure is a plus)
