About the role
We have an exiting role to work within our new Tooling team that sits in the heart of the Technical Operations division. As a Technical Coordinator you will work to manage and keep abreast of upcoming releases, patching requirements, license and certificate renewals and aligning relevant technical resource to implement. You will work closely with the ServiceNow and Automation developers to track and coordinate requests within the business and ensure we keep records of these through their lifecycle, helping represent changes through our CAB process. Another key responsibility will be to track, record and manage our development tools and ensure they aligned to latest product and security releases. This role would suit someone who is keen to have high-level management of a wide range of core applications and tools and someone with a proven track record of similar co-ordination roles and experience.
As a Technical Coordinator you will:
- Review, analyse and evaluate IT incidents, problems, changes and service requests assigned to the Technical Operations team in accordance with SLA’s, policies and procedures to ensure solutions meet business needs and are aligned to Group IT Strategy.
- Identify, evaluate and support on major IT environmental issues affecting software applications especially those relating to resolution of live technical incidents and systems problems as and when required, in accordance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Develop and maintain IT technical standards and policies for software, technology, information and services that are aligned to industry practice and the strategic IT roadmap to deliver consistent and effective IT software design and application.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, third party suppliers and consultants to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and representation of the function. Identify, propose and implement improvements for supported applications to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of quality and efficiency that meet recognised IT standards.
- Deliver short term / one off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with the Line Manager.
About you
We are looking for an individual with the following skills:
Essential:
- Extensive experience working with Windows OS
- Evidence of effective troubleshooting skills at a 2nd/3rd Line Level
- Experience of supporting Internal applications
- Excellent communication skills
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (which must include Maths and English)
Desirable:
- Understanding of Group Policies
- Experience of PowerShell, Python, JavaScript or HTML
- Experience of working with CyberArk or a similar solution
- Working knowledge of Active Directory
- Experience of using SCCM or Rundeck
- Understanding of Citrix/XenApp/Xen Desktop environment
- Experience of Nutanix or Azure (or similar Cloud experience)
- Experience including but not limited to Ifaces, Billing center, Claimcenter and Life systems
- Experience of working within an ITIL framework
- ITIL foundation or working towards
- Relevant industry experience
**This role will include occasional structured out of hours support for releases and patching**

Our teams is located in Stratford-upon-Avon and it would be expected that on average, 50% of your working time would be located from this office, with the remaining days home based should you wish.
