ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines.

We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven project management professional to support our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Software development activities. This involves applying Technical Program Management engineering principles and analytical techniques in support of delivering platform software for the ADAS ECU.

  • Interface with and lead cross functional teams – Systems, Software, Feature, Suppliers, V&V, Quality to define and drive development plans, ensuring on time SW delivery with highest quality

  • Partner with technical development leaders to create symbiotic relationships that showcase high value in technical leader/TPM matched-pairing through delivery velocity

  • Utilize technical knowledge and capabilities to assist technical leaders and engineers in resolving dependencies and issues with stakeholders

  • Help to resolve or facilitate resolution of technical issues

  • Elevate the visibility of the team – provide regular “push” updates through wiki, Jira, Teams, email, and other communication mediums

  • Communicate and present project status to a broad stakeholder and leadership community

  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, developing mitigations and/or recovery plans in event of project slips

  • Efficiently utilize work management tools – Wiki, JIRA, Project Management Tools – to make plans and status visible to leadership and to provide strategic planning options/contingencies

You'll bring...

  • 5+ years’ experience in one or combination of SW program management, engineering management, engineering supervisory role or a technical team leadership role in an embedded technical software discipline

  • 5+ years’ experience in the usage of industry standard project management tools for product development and delivery (MS Project or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ experience in the usage of the JIRA work management tool or equivalent for product development and delivery
