Job Summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The candidate will manage projects with the intelligence community, combatant command and service staffs, warfare centers, and joint exercise planners to capture the latest understanding of adversary capabilities, the results of U.S. operational analysis studies and wargames, and the outcomes and learning from large force exercises. 
  • The candidate will consolidate, curate, and disseminate this information throughout GA-ASI teams to inform current and future capability developments via traceable and actionable operational analysis studies.  
  • The candidate must have recent and verifiable experience in each of these areas and be capable of maintaining TS//SCI and Special Access Program clearances. 
  • Anticipated travel 25%.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field as well as eleven or more years of progressively complex program administration experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. 
  • Technical experience with airborne mission systems, sensor development, system/platform integration, autonomy, and system security (desired). 
  • Technical experience with modern Agile software development methods, tools, execution.
  • Ability to drive execution of technical development and delivery of software intensive products
  • Strong ability to prepare proposals, execute Government contracts, prepare technical and financial reports, hands on knowledge of special access program (SAP) security processes.
  • Ability to manage dynamic program schedules; achieve program objectives on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practice as well as program management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
  • Must be able to develop solutions to problems that require coordination of technologies across program requirements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.
  • Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
  • Experience instantiating & managing classified Operational Analysis (OA) modeling and simulation environments.
  • Familiarity with OSW, Service, and Other Government Agency OA tool-stacks and best practices.
  • Prior work experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) is desired.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.
