About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, You will be working forward thinking and defining new solutions and strategies to plan and manage the deployment of modular containerized data centers to support GLS (Google Line System). This will involve working with partner teams across Google Global Infrastructure (GGI), defining requirements, turning those plans into designs and executable solutions to support the growth of the network, and providing program management oversight for all deployments globally. We are looking for experienced data center technical program managers with the following skills: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, AutoCAD Drafting, Network Architecture/Design, Fiber OSP/ISP Engineering, Large-Scale Project Management, Financial/Cost Analysis, Construction Project Management. You don't need to have all of these, but several of these skills combined with a desire to create elegant solutions, is essential.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
