Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the Gen AI COE roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute project plans for AI infrastructure setup, fine-tuning open-source LLMs, Q&A bot UI, and natural language querying.
  • Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics for AI-driven solutions.
  • Ensure on-time delivery, scope adherence, and risk mitigation in AI projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (ML engineers, software engineers, DevOps, data scientists) for effective AI execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, ensuring continuous value delivery and adoption of Gen AI solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and additional AI services.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and set clear expectations for AI project outcomes.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering, MLOps, and product teams for seamless AI development.
  • Coordinate infrastructure provisioning, model deployment, and performance optimization with DevOps.
  • Maintain and refine technical documentation, backlogs, and sprint reports.
  • Oversee AI model deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Guide teams on AI pipeline automation, CI/CD for ML models, and ML governance best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy adherence in AI-driven HCLS solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years in technical program management, AI/ML product delivery, or cloud-based AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML infrastructure (training & inference).
  • Proficiency in cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker or GCP Vertex AI or Azure ML).
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), prompt engineering, RAG, and Gen AI architectures.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale AI/ML projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate AI concepts into business impact.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira, and backlog management.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships in AI/ML projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage uncertainty in AI research & development.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a customer-first approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in building AI COEs or AI strategy teams.
  • Scrum Master certification or PMP certification.
  • Experience with LLM fine-tuning (SFT, LoRA, QLoRA) and Gen AI use cases.
  • Strong grasp of MLOps best practices, AI observability, and model deployment strategies.
