You Are:

UST is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong software development program experience to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders.

The opportunity:

·       Lead and execute cross-functional software development programs spanning engineering, product management, QA, DevOps, and operations teams.

·       Own program schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and executive-level reporting.

·       Translate business and product requirements into clear technical execution plans.

·       Drive program execution across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

·       Coordinate delivery across backend services, APIs, microservices, data platforms, and cloud-based systems.

·       Facilitate Agile program-level ceremonies including PI planning, release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

·       Identify and proactively mitigate technical, execution, and dependency risks.

·       Manage cross-team and cross-geo dependencies to ensure alignment and accountability.

·       Track and communicate program health using metrics related to schedule, quality, scope, and resource utilization.

·       Support client interactions, executive reviews, and stakeholder communications.

·       Drive change management, scope trade-offs, and prioritization decisions to meet delivery commitments.

·       Partner with engineering leadership to align on architecture, design decisions, and technical dependencies.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

·       8+ years of experience managing software development programs or technical project delivery.

·       Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based applications.

·       Hands-on experience managing programs involving:

·       Backend systems and microservices

·       Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

·       Enterprise or large-scale software applications

·       Deep understanding of Agile / Scrum / SAFe methodologies.

·       Proven ability to manage cross-functional and client-facing programs.

·       Strong program management, execution discipline, and stakeholder communication skills.

·       Ability to drive risk management, technical triage, and data-driven decision-making.

·       Desired Skills:

·       Prior experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or Architect.

·       Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production operations.

·       Experience working in client delivery or matrixed environments.

·       Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

·       PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications (preferred but optional).

·       Qualification:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

·       Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
