We are searching for a results-oriented Technical Services Senior Engineer to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. This role serves as a technical leader, trusted advisor, and subject matter expert supporting customers, field personnel, engineering teams, and manufacturing operations.

Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5-8 years of experience in controls engineering and an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
- 5-8 years of experience within the elevator industry, including engineering, manufacturing, and/or quality-related roles.
- Prior supervisory and/or leadership experience in a technical support environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of elevator systems, components, operating environments, and applicable industry regulations and standards.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to provide technical support both remotely and onsite.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Technical Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Leadership teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as needed, including on short notice.
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Serving as the highest level of technical escalation for customer and field support issues.
- Responding to and resolving complex customer support concerns while providing hands-on assistance to customers and Technical Support Technicians.
- Developing, maintaining, and delivering technical training programs for employees and customers.
- Creating and maintaining training materials, technical documentation, product manuals, and technical bulletins.
- Acting as the primary technical resource for production floor questions and serving as a liaison between Manufacturing and Research & Development teams.
- Providing subject matter expertise and technical consultation to Product Development, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Teams, and other Vantage business units.
- Supporting escalated internal technical issues across the organization.
- Conducting technical presentations for customers, consultants, and industry organizations.
- Representing the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional events such as NAEC Convention, NAEC Spring Educational Conference, ECNY, and MESA.
- Traveling to customer sites to provide technical field support and expertise.
- Participating in special projects and additional technical support initiatives as assigned by management.
