The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement:
We develop several products in Power system domain such as IED, MicroSCDAD, RTU, Wired, and Wireless communication devices. As a member of the Application development team in the PGGA Business unit, you will collaborate with a diverse group of talented engineers from around the world.
Your responsibilities:
Engage in the development and maintenance of PASOP application, from pre-study and design to tests and integration.
Develop high-quality software modules within specified timelines and efficiently maintain them, including implementing enhancements and bug fixes.
Create specifications and documentation for software components.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, test automation, and adherence to up-to-date software development processes.Collaborate with internal and external customers working in agile, cross-competent teams.

Your background:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Electronics and communications, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Must have 1-2 years of experience.
Good understanding of Power System domain.
Profound developer background in Power system products, preferably worked as an application.
developer will be an added advantage.
Experience in PLC Programming with CODESYS environment.
Hands of experience in Structured text and FBD.
Experience in IEC 61131 Standard.
Good understanding of Windows, Linux operating system platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
