About the Opportunity:
Roxonn is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to create a comprehensive, easy-to-understand user guide specifically for "Pool Managers" on our platform. Your work will be crucial in helping project maintainers effectively utilize Roxonn to fund and manage bounties. This is a paid bounty to produce a key piece of documentation for our growing community.
Project Overview: The Roxonn Platform
Roxonn is building a Decentralized Software Organization (DSO) on the XDC Network. Our mission is to revolutionize how software is developed and how talent is rewarded globally. We connect businesses and open-source projects with skilled contributors, using blockchain for transparent funding, task management, and instant crypto-based rewards (XDC and future ROXN tokens). Roxonn aims to create a fair, efficient, and accessible ecosystem for decentralized collaboration.
Task Description (Based on GitHub Issue #2):
Create a detailed user guide (pool-manager-guide.md) covering all aspects of using the Roxonn platform from a Pool Manager's perspective. Key sections to include:
- Introduction to Roxonn for Pool Managers.
- Getting Started (account setup, dashboard).
- Managing Repositories on Roxonn.
- Funding Reward Pools (XDC/ROXN).
- Creating and Managing Bounties (linking to GitHub issues, using potential GenAI tools).
- Reviewing Contributions & Allocating Rewards.
- Distributing Rewards (on-chain process).
- Best Practices for Pool Managers.
- Troubleshooting & FAQ.
- The guide should be clear, concise, well-structured, include illustrative screenshots/diagrams, and be accessible to users new to Web3 concepts.
- (Refer to GitHub Issue #2 for full MVP scope and acceptance criteria).
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Technical Writing or creating software documentation.
- Excellent clear communication and writing skills in English.
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply and accurately.
- Familiarity with GitHub and open-source project workflows.
- Ability to create clear screenshots and potentially simple diagrams.
- (Helpful but not essential) Understanding of Web3/Blockchain concepts or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
- Experience writing for a global audience.

Platform Information: How Rewards Work
- What is this rewards system? Roxonn rewards contributions with XDC tokens (and soon our native ROXN token), a cryptocurrency earned by completing tasks (bounties) on our platform.
- How it works:
- Sign in to the Roxonn platform with your GitHub account (a compatible XDC wallet is auto-created or can be linked).
- Choose a task (like this one, detailed in GitHub Issue #2) from our project.
- Submit your work (in this case, the markdown guide and assets, likely via a Pull Request on GitHub, linking it to the issue "Closes #2").
- Upon review and approval of your guide, XDC tokens for the bounty are sent directly to your wallet on the Roxonn platform.
- What can you do with XDC? Earned XDC tokens are transferable. You can send them to other XDC wallets, use them within the XDC ecosystem, or exchange them for INR/other fiat currencies on platforms that support XDC.
