Expanded Key Responsabilities
- Deploy and configure OpenShift clusters in production and non‑production environments
- Execute upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities with minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot cluster, node, and platform‑level issues
- Ensure platform security, performance, and compliance
- Support onboarding and runtime needs of CNFs and cloud‑native workloads
Skillset
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
- Process, memory, disk, CPU troubleshooting
- Systemd, journald, log analysis
- Networking basics: ports, firewalls, DNS, routing
- SSH, SCP, file permissions, SELinux (basic)
- oc CLI proficiency
- Projects / Namespaces
- Routes & ImageStreams
- SCCs (Security Context Constraints)
- RBAC basics
- Operators & OperatorHub (usage, not development)
- Cluster health checks
- Assisted / supervised upgrades (validate, monitor, rollback)
