Key Responsibilities : As an experienced Storage administrator the role will involve providing Storage technical administration support and Storage development services Projects The person must possess self confidence in his / her technical abilities to perform day to day Storage administration project Migration as well as troubleshoot production issues Technical Experience : Knowledge and practical experience of NetApp 7 Cluster mode and EMC VNX/VMAX/Isilon IBM Mandatory knowledge and Hands-on NetApp Storage allocation/de-allocation/Ports /igroup /Mapping Hardware troubleshooting understating on NetApp Cluster Mode Experience in NetApp C Mode replication technologies Experience in NetApp C Mode Migration activities In Addition to NetApp experience in EMC Isilon VNX Hand on experience on creation of arrays, ranks, extent pools, and volumes, allocation / de allocat Professional Attributes : Good analytical and troubleshooting skills the ability to think logically through a problem Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution. hands-on Nasuni, Tintri backup product hands on
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Participate in the development and improvement of operational processes to enhance service delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in NetApp Data Management & Cloud Storage Solutions.
- Strong understanding of storage architecture, data protection, and backup strategies.
- Experience with troubleshooting storage systems and resolving complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with cloud storage platforms and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of incidents.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to resolve technical challenges.
