THE OPPORTUNITY 

Here at Norweld, we are continuing to grow our team to keep up with customer demand! This means we have exciting new opportunities for Trade Assistants to join our production team in Brisbane. You’ll enjoy a great work/life balance with a 4-day week and no weekend work, in a new, clean work environment. In this role, you will be assisting our Tradespersons and Trade Technicians, in delivering top quality results on aluminium tray and canopy components for high-end vehicle builds. You will be required to maintain a high level of safety, reliability and operational performance to ensure customer satisfaction. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our Tradespersons and Trade Technicians, with various day-to-day tasks

• Utilising hand tools, power tools, or machines where required

• Ensuring tools and equipment are clean, organised and ready for use

• Performing quality checks on parts and assembled products

• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, meeting safety and production targets, to the highest standards

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment  

• Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards

• Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

The ideal candidate will have:

•  Excellent quality of work and time management skills

•  Current Australian Driver’s License

•  Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety

•  Good written and verbal communication skills

•  Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment

•  Sound knowledge of 4x4 Makes, Models and popular accessories and brands (desirable)

•  Passion for the outdoors, off-roading and camping is a plus!
