This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving training tracking systems; auditing technical training checklists; refreshing outdated training materials; and ensuring training records remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing supervisors, area coordinators, process engineering, equipment engineering, quality, EH&S, and peer trainers to standardize training practices and help technicians build capability safely, consistently, and efficiently.

  • Audit technical training checklists, on-the-job training records, and certification documentation for accuracy, completeness, revision control, and alignment with current procedures.
  • Refresh outdated training checklists, job aids, and certification forms in partnership with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and EH&S stakeholders.
  • Coordinate onboarding, role-based training plans, cross-training priorities, peer-trainer assignments, qualification activities, and sign-off requirements.
  • Track training progress, identify gaps or delays, escalate blockers, and provide routine status updates to manufacturing leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent manufacturing training experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom operations, technical training, production coordination, quality systems, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, or improving training tracking systems, skills matrices, certification trackers, dashboards, or similar structured records.
  • Experience auditing training documentation, technical checklists, controlled forms, standard work, or quality-related records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively with technicians, supervisors, engineers, quality, EH&S, and HR partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a semiconductor manufacturing technician, process technician, area coordinator, trainer, training coordinator, or quality documentation coordinator.
  • Experience with wafer fabrication, test, dicing, inspection, metrology, WIP tracking, manufacturing execution systems, document control systems, or learning management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, cleanroom protocols, ESD practices, chemical safety, audit-ready documentation, and training record retention requirements.
  • Ability to translate technical procedures into clear training checklists, job aids, certification steps, and practical observation criteria.
  • Experience supporting training improvements during staffing ramps, cross-training initiatives, new tool releases, process changes, or operational improvement projects.
