Key Responsibilities:

Backstage Platform Development

•Design, develop, and enhance Backstage Developer Portal

•Build and maintain Software Templates (Scaffolder) and golden paths

•Develop custom Backstage plugins (frontend + backend) using TypeScript

•Manage Backstage Catalog (entities, systems, ownership, metadata governance)

DevOps & Platform Integration

•Integrate Backstage with SCM, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, security and monitoring tools

•Build reusable CI/CD templates and pipeline-as-code frameworks

•Enable end-to-end automation (build, test, deploy, monitor)

•Implement RBAC, secrets management, and security-first pipelines

Engineering & Development

•Build backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices architecture)

•Develop and manage API integrations across platform services

•Work on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
