• Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software applications for medical instrumentation following the software development life cycle.
• Write, debug and document code to established standards utilizing PHP depending on project needs for implementation of application functionality and/or graphical user interfaces
• Serve as technical expert on development projects.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design
• Participates in risk analysis and system architecture definitions
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Collaborate and interact with other Engineers, Program Managers and Technical Services

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
•  0-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a Microsoft environment
• Fluency in PHP for web applications
• Experience in medical device company is a plus, but not a requirement
• Solid skills in Analyzing information, Software Design and Documentation, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture.
