The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established furniture business. We are looking for multiple Van Drivers to join the team on a temp to perm basis.

Location: Lichfield, WS13

Job Type: 13 Week Temp to Perm

Pay Rates:

£13.40 per hour
Increased to £13.82 per hour upon successful completion of probation.

Hours & Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday
Average 50 hours per week
06:00 start – approximately 14:30 finish
14:00 start – approximately 22:00 finish
Full-time ongoing work available

The Role:

Multi-drop delivery work across commercial and residential locations.
Delivering furniture and household items including sofas, cabinets and other home furnishings.
Up to 13 drops per day.
Mixture of doorstep deliveries and room of choice deliveries.
Some deliveries will involve furniture assembly within customers’ homes.
Double manned vehicle crews.
Drivers typically complete around 4 hours driving before swapping driving duties.
Operating manual transmission vehicles.
Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence.
Minimum 2 years driving experience required.
Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy items.
Good customer service skills.
Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Recruitment Process:
