The Position…
The position requires an energetic, fit and committed individual with experience in warehousing to take on the role of Warehouse Assistant - Picker/Packer.
The Responsibilities Include;
- Picking, packing and processing of orders
- Receiving and dispatching
- Updating inwards outwards records online
- Rolling Stocktakes
- Moving stock into various locations
- Warehouse maintenance & housekeeping
- Loading & unloading of trucks and shipping containers with a forklift
- General warehouse duties as required
- Customer service for trade desk
The Ideal Candidate…
The successful candidate must possess experience in a warehouse pick/packer role and demonstrate initiative and high energy with a can-do attitude. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a forklift licence and adequate computer skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience in the construction or mining industry who can identify and pick orders accurately. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- A deep customer-focused attitude
- Clean, tidy and well presented with a professional approach
- Reliability and flexibility to work as required
- Physically capable of performing manual duties of bending, lifting and carrying.
- A sense of urgency in work practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current Forklift license
