SUMMARY
This is a hybrid role requiring regular work in both the warehouse and as a delivery driver. Daily responsibilities will vary based on delivery schedules, order volume, staffing, and branch needs. Candidates must be willing and able to perform both functions.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, pick, stage, and load electrical materials.
- Verify orders for accuracy before pickup or delivery.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Safely deliver materials to customer locations and jobsites.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload customer orders.
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle inspections.
- Provide professional service to customers.
- Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and DOT regulations.
REPORTS TO: Profit Center Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Active DOT Medical Card at hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to meet company, insurance, and DOT driving requirements.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Warehouse, delivery, forklift, or electrical-distribution experience is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Unconditioned warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions. Heavy lifting (50+pounds) and long periods of standing.COMPENSATION:
The compensation range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 hourly

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards
- Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery
- Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor
- Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle
- Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner
- Pick up material from vendors
- Receive incoming freight
- Keep a clean and organized warehouse
- Stock material on shelves
- Pick orders
- Processing returns from customers and to vendors
- Operate a Microsoft-based computer system
- Take walk-in customer orders in person or over the phone
