About the Department
This application is designated for INTERNAL USE ONLY and should be completed solely upon instruction from the Coordinator of WCE Workforce and Community Service Programs.
Position Duties
Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the subject area. Applicants must be able to teach day, evening, and weekend classes, which may include classes offered at our main campus and off-site. Instructors may be required to teach the following type of courses traditional methods (seated), online, and hybrid. The candidate must complete the mandatory SafeColleges training within 30 days of hire and annual refresher training thereafter.

Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience
Unofficial transcripts from all degree-granting, institutions must be electronically attached to your application or submitted to Human Resources before being considered for an interview. To be considered, all degrees must be awarded by a regionally accredited institution recognized by the United States Department of Education.
Official transcripts for all coursework and degrees will be required within 30 days of hire.
Foreign Degrees: Foreign degree evaluations must be attached in lieu of transcripts for degrees earned outside the United States. Transcripts from foreign institutions will not be considered alone.
Foreign Credential Evaluation Services: Wayne Community College accepts foreign transcript evaluations only from The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. *Prices for transcript evaluations vary from agency to agency, and payment is the applicant's responsibility.
