Job Description:
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Linthicum, Maryland. In this role, you will contribute as a core engineer on a collaborative team delivering enterprise web services deployed in AWS. You'll design, develop, and maintain modern web applications while supporting secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for critical national security missions.
Working alongside software engineers and mission stakeholders, you will take ownership of application features from design through deployment, contribute to architectural decisions, and improve the reliability and maintainability of enterprise applications. You'll leverage modern web technologies and cloud platforms while supporting Agile software development practices.
As a Web Developer, you'll have the opportunity to work across the full application stack while developing secure, high-performing web solutions supporting enterprise mission operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement application features across the API, user interface, and data layers with limited supervision.
- Develop and document technical approaches for new features and enhancements as needed.
- Own production services by deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing root-cause solutions to improve system reliability.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical direction, including scalability, security, and design tradeoff discussions.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software quality and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver solutions iteratively within an Agile development environment.
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance secure web applications supporting enterprise mission requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted.

- Vue.js
- React
- Experience deploying and operating software within Linux environments, including service configuration, log analysis, basic networking, and automation.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication and authorization concepts, and secure software development practices.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, including indexing and practical query performance optimization.
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification requirements.
- Accepted certifications include: CAP, GSLC, or Security+.
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, Application Load Balancer (ALB), Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and CloudWatch, or equivalent Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience configuring and optimizing Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat web servers.
- Experience with PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience supporting production services and participating in on-call or incident response activities.
