Job Description

At PrettyWP, we've spent the last few years supporting WordPress sites for businesses and agencies across the world. We’re building something bigger, a powerful, AI-driven platform that will change how WordPress sites are managed.

This isn’t about building client websites. This is about building a product, a tool that makes WordPress management faster, smarter, and simpler.

We’re looking for a developer who loves WordPress and React and wants to be part of a small but ambitious team that is creating something new from scratch.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Developing custom WordPress plugins and APIs that connect with our platform.

  • Building beautiful, fast React.js interfaces (we’re leaning towards Next.js).

  • Working on real-time site monitoring, backups, security tools, and more.

  • Helping shape product decisions, not just writing code.

  • Making sure everything runs fast, securely, and scales well as we grow.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience with WordPress development (especially plugins and APIs).

  • Comfortable building with React.js (and modern JavaScript/TypeScript).

  • Good PHP and MySQL knowledge.

  • Experience working with REST APIs.

  • Someone who writes clean, maintainable code and cares about performance.

  • Someone excited about building a real product, not just making tickets.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with WordPress Multisite.

  • Knowledge of headless WordPress setups.

  • Experience building SaaS tools or admin dashboards.

  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Prisma, or GraphQL.
