    Work Based Learning Coordinator

    GENERAL STATEMENT
    OF JOB: The Work-based learning coordinator works with teachers, students, and local businesses to find supportive and meaningful internships/apprenticeships that align with students' course of study.  Responsible for establishing relationships with local businesses, creating class visitations, and securing guest speakers from local industries.  Support and track students with their transition planning.

    TERMS OF 
    EMPLOYMENT:        
        Full-time, 10-month, tenure track assignment.
        Competitive salary; negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS, 
    EXPERIENCE AND 
    COMPETENCIES:    
        Valid NYS Certifications � CTE Certification and WBL Certification. Coordinator of Work Based Learning Program for Career Development Extensions.

        Program & Placement Management
        Partnership & Event Coordination
        Compliance & Data Tracking
        Deep understanding of career and technical education (CTE) frameworks, local labor market trends, and legal regulations like the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and FERPA.
        Highly organized self-starter proficient in data tracking software, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in problem-solving and confidently advocate for student talent.
