This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex Workday integrations within a modern, enterprise technology environment.
You will design and develop reliable data flows connecting Workday with critical external applications and systems.
The role offers significant technical ownership across the full integration lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through deployment and production support.
You will work closely with HR, payroll, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Your expertise will help improve data quality, security, integration performance, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex integrations across the Workday ecosystem and external applications.
- Build, enhance, and optimize integrations using Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
- Work with Workday Core Connectors, web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and effective integration solutions.
- Configure integration systems while ensuring data accuracy, security, reliability, and consistency.
- Develop transformation logic, data mappings, validations, error-handling processes, and integration workflows.
- Conduct unit, integration, regression, and production validation testing to ensure reliable deployments.
- Monitor integration performance and investigate production incidents, data issues, failures, and other technical problems.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve integration-related challenges.
- Support integration deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing production maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and support procedures.
- Follow established development, security, and change-management standards while identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
- 7+ years of experience in Workday integration development or a closely related technical role.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio and EIB.
- Proven experience developing and supporting complex Workday integrations within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Workday integration architecture, data flows, business processes, and security concepts.
- Practical experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, APIs, web services, and data transformation.
- Knowledge of Workday Core Connectors and related integration technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve integration failures efficiently.
- Experience across the complete integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Strong understanding of integration testing, error handling, monitoring, performance optimization, and data quality.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple integration initiatives, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to building reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance automation, efficiency, and integration performance.
