Job description

We're an early-stage robotics startup founded out of TUM MIRMI and backed by €1M+ in pre-seed funding from a leading European VC. Our mission is to bring the latest advances in Robot Learning and Physical AI into real industrial deployment.

While our research team develops the robotics technologies of tomorrow, this role focuses on building the systems customers can use today. You'll work on real automation projects - from robot programming to hardware integration and industrial deployments - and help bring modern robotics into manufacturing.

Aufgaben

  • Design, build and install and troubleshoot industrial robotics applications and troubleshoot customer deployments
  • Integrate sensors, cameras, pneumatics, end-effectors and industrial I/Os
  • Design mechanical components and fixtures using CAD
  • Assemble, test and iterate prototypes and customer systems
  • Support deployment and commissioning at customer sites

Qualifikation

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related field

  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for building real hardware

  • Experience with CAD (i.e. Solidworks, Fusion 360, Inventor..)

  • First experience in automation technology, robotics or special-purpose machinery

  • Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working

  • Experience with one or more of the following makes you stand out:

  • PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Codesys, etc.)

  • Robot programming (for example UR, Kuka, Fanuc..)

  • Pneumatics or electrical systems

  • Industrial communication (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, ...)

Benefits

Take Ownership: Join an early-stage startup where your ideas have a direct impact on the company, product, and technology.

State-of-the-Art Tools and Machinery: Work hands-on with the latest robotics platforms, machine tools, 3D-printers and more.

Build from Day One: Work closely with the founder and help shape the company, technology, and culture from the ground up.

Accelerate Your Growth: Take on challenging problems, learn quickly, and grow faster than in almost any other environment.

Freedom & Responsibility: Shape your role around your strengths and interests with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

Great Perks: Free dinners, gym membership, team events, and other startup perks.

We appreciate a builders mindset more than a polished CV. If you're excited about robotics, love building things, and want to work on technology that will shape the future of manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
