YOUR TASKS
- Support the implementation and global rollout of a Supplier Management and eSourcing platform
- Assist in developing, implementing and deploying global AI and data analytics applications
- Independently prepare ad hoc analyses covering procurement spend, delivery performance, material price trends, payment terms and supplier quality
- Prepare presentations, reports and decision documents for management meetings
- Monitor strategic supplier development and support supplier risk analyses
- Support the Strategic Purchasing team in its day-to-day activities, working closely with the IT department and Knorr-Bremse locations worldwide
- Contribute to international projects and process optimization initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
- Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a comparable field of study
- Very good English skills; German language skills are a plus
- Strong interest in purchasing, supplier management, data analytics and digital transformation
- Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset and a high level of motivation
- Ability to work independently, reliably and in a structured manner
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data analytics tools, AI applications or business intelligence solutions is an advantage
