Automotive/Motor Trade Workshop Controller required for our client a very busy main dealership based in the South West London area.
The Role:
- Responsible for the efficient running of the workshop
- Delegating workloads to Technicians and increasing productivity
- Managing customer expectations, job profitability and workshop productivity targets
- Liaising with Service Department to keep them informed of progress and advising on any additional work that needs carrying out
- Planning and organising hours to sell and drive labour sales
- Delegating workloads to productive staff in a workshop
- Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work
- Ensure that service and repair work is completed to time and quality standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role with experience of running a busy workshop
- A proven background as a Workshop Manager or an experienced Service Manager within a main dealership environment
- Ability to motivate and train staff whilst maintaining targets and deadlines
