Job description

Workshop Engineer - Wolverhampton

Hours: 40 hours per week – Mon to Fri

You will join the Wolverhampton team, helping us to ensure the efficient functioning of equipment and machinery and playing an essential role in growing our machine rental business. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Most importantly you will be looking to join a welcoming and inclusive team.

Essential Responsibilities of the Role  

·       Maintenance and repairs of cleaning machines to the required standard.

·       Meet repair & maintenance quality standards.

·       Keep to deadlines for turnaround

·       Test completed machines for quality & performance.

·       Keep accurate records

·       Inventory booking

·       Work within health & safety guidelines

·       Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Your new team

What you will need

This position is for you if you are passionate about a hands-on role where you can see results! If fixing things makes you tick, then this is the role for you. 

You should have basic skills or knowledge in engineering, diagnostics, and mechanics. You will need first-class problem-solving skills and great attention to detail as well as being able to work in a team. It would be beneficial if you have experience in a similar role although we are willing to help train someone with the passion and energy to succeed.
