YMCA of Greater Richmond: Provides community health, youth development, and childcare services.
Must be at least 15; current CPR and AED for Professional Rescuers, First Aid, and lifeguard certification (American Red Cross, YMCA, or Ellis). O2 preferred; training provided for qualified swimmers.
YMCA: The Y provides community-focused programs for youth and families.
Must be at least 16; childcare experience preferred. Requires CPR, First Aid, AED, child abuse prevention training, and Praesidium training, with communication and emergency-response abilities.
YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas: Provides wellness, youth development, and community support services.
Must be at least 15 (16 for YMCA), hold lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED/O2 certifications, complete background checks and required trainings, and pass lifeguard water test.
