Must be 17+, lifeguard experience preferred; CPR/AED and First Aid required within 15 days; YMCA or Red Cross lifeguard or swim coach safety training; ability to instruct, lift equipment, and supervise members.
YMCA of Delaware: Provides community health, childcare, and youth development programs.
Must be at least 16, hold a current Ellis & Associates CARMP credential, meet vision standards (20/25 or corrected), and remain vigilant for member safety; multilingual preferred.
YMCA of the Chesapeake: Provides community health, childcare, and youth development programs.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen certifications; YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent; must be at least 16 years old; ability to demonstrate swim instructor skills to YMCA standards.
YMCA of Greater Brandywine: Provides fitness memberships, childcare services, and youth summer camps.
Must be 16+, teach YMCA swim curriculum, obtain YMCA YSL certification within 6 months, maintain new-hire trainings/certifications within 90 days, demonstrate swim stroke proficiency and ability to interact with children and adults.
