As an Acceleration Center - Software Engineer (Full Stack – SQL / .NET) - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining innovative software solutions within our Software Engineering competency. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects that drive the success of our clients and enhance their technological capabilities. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a dynamic team that leverages the latest technologies to deliver impactful results.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will be responsible for analyzing complex problems, guiding others, and maintaining professional standards. Responsibilities
• Design and deliver full stack functionality that advances the rebuild of the legacy platform with feature parity and modern architecture.
• Build responsive, maintainable frontend experiences in React and scalable backend services in .NET.
• Translate specifications, collaborative requirement sessions, business scenarios, and observed legacy behavior into working software with limited task-level direction.
• Participate actively in JADx, an extended version of Joint Application Development, to clarify workflows, identify edge cases, and align implementation to business outcomes.
• Analyze the legacy application to understand validations, dependencies, workflows, and hidden complexity that must be preserved in the rebuild.
• Contribute to a modular architecture that supports maintainability, quality, future extensibility, and effective deployment in cloud environments.
• Make sound implementation decisions independently and help reduce ambiguity for the broader team.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, peers, and QA to deliver in a fast-iteration, outcome-focused environment.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of the engineering workflow for coding, prototyping, refactoring, and technical exploration.
• Maintain strong standards for code structure, readability, testability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas; write, review, and improve complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning strategies to ensure data integrity and application performance.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in C#.NET and JavaScript (JS)
- Strong SQL skills, including schema understanding, querying, and effective use of relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies
- Developing solutions using Microservices architecture
- Excelling in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
- Managing API integrations and RESTful services
- Navigating complex software development projects with analytical thinking
- Proven ability to deliver across frontend, backend, integration, and application runtime concerns.
