Description

Infinity Technology is seeking a motivated, detailed oriented, and customer-focused individual who would be responsible for Administrative Assistant activities in support of our Department of Labor DOL, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) contract. The ideal candidate will have federal work experience, be an expert in the field, work independently with minimal supervision, and have prior experience in a similar role within government environments.


*This position is primarily located in the Washington DC area, but contractors may be required to provide support at any DOL occupied facility located nationwide.*
 

*This position is Contingent upon contract award with work expected to begin immediately.*

-- DOL, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) is responsible for the development of policies, standards, procedures, systems and materials related to the resource and administrative management of the department.

-- DOL, OASAM Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) is a customer service organization that delivers consistent, high-quality, enterprise-wide procurement services to support DOL’s diverse missions and maximize the Department’s federal buying power.

-- To support the Agencies across the Department, OSPE requires the services to provide acquisition, logistical, administrative, management, and technical writing services to assist with the day-today activities.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

-- Manage senior management schedules, prioritizing meetings and appointments.

-- Review outgoing correspondence to ensure it is properly formatted and prepared on official letterhead for proper distribution. Reviews shall be completed within 24 hours of assignment, or as otherwise instructed by the COR.

-- Order and maintain supplies for office personnel, copiers, shredders, facsimile machines, and other office equipment. Notify the Government POC when office supplies are at the communicated depletion level so that the POC can reorder.

-- Manage the file room, including retrieving files upon request.

-- Greet visitors and escort or direct them to the appropriate individual being visited.

-- Manage, reserve, schedule, and set up conference rooms for personnel.

-- Assist personnel in making preparations for meetings (e.g., making copies, compiling briefing books).

-- Arrange domestic/international travel and prepare travel vouchers in accordance with DOL policies and regulations.

-- Gather, compile, and verify information and perform data entry.

-- Take minutes/notes for senior management meetings.


Education Requirements

-- High school diploma or its equivalent.


Experience Requirements

-- Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience.


Key Qualifications

-- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

-- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-- Fully proficient in multiple competencies relevant to the job.

-- Works independently on complex tasks within established procedures associated with specific job functions).


Desired Certifications & Training

-- Technical training or certifications related to office administration or executive support are beneficial but not required.


Security Requirements

-- Candidate must be capable of meeting the criteria for a background investigation and have the ability to obtain a government issued identification badge.  All successful candidates will be required to receive and maintain a National Agency Check Inquiries (NACI) security clearance.
