Job Description

About Authenticom

At Authenticom, we're building the future of automotive data connectivity.

For more than 20 years, we've been the trusted technology partner behind many of North America's leading automotive manufacturers, dealerships, software providers, and technology companies. Every day, our technology securely powers millions of critical data exchanges that keep the automotive industry moving.

While our name may not be widely recognized outside the industry, our impact is. Today, we're entering an exciting new phase of growth—expanding our products, strengthening strategic partnerships, and investing in the people and technology that will accelerate what's next.

We're large enough to solve meaningful, enterprise-scale challenges, yet agile enough that every employee has the opportunity to influence our direction. We believe great companies are built by great people, which is why we've created a remote-first culture grounded in trust, accountability, collaboration, and flexibility.

If you're looking for meaningful work, opportunities to grow your technical skills, and the chance to make a measurable impact on the automotive technology ecosystem, Authenticom offers the opportunity to help shape the future—not simply be part of it.

About the Opportunity

This isn't just another technical support role.

We're looking for a detail-oriented technical implementation professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new software systems, and helping customers successfully navigate complex data integrations.

You'll play a critical role in Authenticom's customer experience by supporting the setup, onboarding, validation, and ongoing maintenance of dealership data integrations. You'll work directly with dealership personnel and software vendors while partnering across Technical Support, Sales, Customer Success, and other internal teams to ensure integrations are configured accurately and customers receive a high level of service.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, customer service, and automotive operations. If you're energized by troubleshooting technical issues, learning new systems, and helping customers succeed, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

 Implementation & Onboarding

  • Configure dealership API data integrations and assist with client software implementation activities.
  • Complete setup, validation, and quality-control checks to ensure accurate data processing.
  • Manage onboarding tasks and coordinate implementation requirements with dealerships and vendors.
  • Support order fulfillment activities and ensure customer setups are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with dealer onboarding, data-feed approvals, and synchronization activities.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot API transactions, logs, data, software, and configuration-related issues.
  • Work directly with dealerships and internal teams to resolve onboarding and integration concerns.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of customer communication.
  • Help customers understand integration requirements, data processes, and best practices.

Support Automotive Systems & Integrations

  • Assist dealerships with Dealer Management System (DMS) setup by installing proprietary software and activating or configuring APIs.
  • Guide dealership personnel through setup requirements and data-export procedures.
  • Test and validate APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated test suites, and logging platforms.
  • Support API interfaces, including REST, webhooks, and related authentication methods.
  • Help ensure dealership data is accurately configured, transmitted, and maintained.

Document & Collaborate

  • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions within Salesforce and related systems.
  • Maintain accurate case records, implementation notes, and customer documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, and other internal teams.
  • Communicate technical requirements and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Share recurring issues and customer feedback that can help improve products, processes, and the overall customer experience.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Prioritize and complete work according to service-level agreements (SLAs) and department standards.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple implementation and support activities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and customer experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and follow issues through to resolution.

What Success Looks Like

  • Successfully manage dealership onboarding and implementation activities.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of Authenticom's APIs, integrations, and proprietary software.
  • Build trusted relationships with dealership and vendor contacts.
  • Consistently complete implementation and support activities accurately and within established service levels.
  • Become a reliable resource for troubleshooting integration and configuration issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Contribute ideas that improve implementation processes and the customer experience.
  • Become a trusted member of the Implementation Services organization.

What You Bring

Technical & Customer Support Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support, technical support, implementation support, dealership operations, software support, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Minimum 1 year of API configuration and utilization experience.
  • Experience understanding, documenting, and maintaining API interfaces, including REST, webhooks, and related authentication methods.
  • Experience testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated test suites, and logging platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree, technical certification, or related education preferred.

Technical Aptitude

  • Experience working with software systems, APIs, data integrations, or technical configurations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, and working with data files.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Salesforce, CRM software, ticketing systems, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to learn new software, systems, and technical processes quickly.

Customer Communication

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and problem resolution.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with dealership personnel, software vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Remote Work

  • Minimum 1 year of successful remote work experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting dealership software, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), or automotive technology platforms.
  • Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or software-based products.
  • Automotive dealership or automotive technology experience.
  • Experience working with data integration, API, or software implementation teams.

Who You Are

You're the type of technical professional who enjoys turning problems into solutions.

You naturally dig into the details, ask thoughtful questions, and enjoy figuring out how systems work. You're comfortable working with customers, technology, and data, and you can translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.

You're organized, responsive, and accountable for your work. You can work independently in a remote environment while also collaborating effectively with teammates across the organization.
