Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Document Controller with a strong background in aviation or large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex documentation workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and security of project documentation throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Establish, maintain, and manage document control systems for aviation or large infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure all project documentation (e.g., drawings, contracts, specifications, reports) is accurately recorded, stored, and distributed.
  • Implement and enforce document numbering, version control, and filing protocols in line with company and client requirements.• Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS) to facilitate efficient document retrieval and sharing. 
  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify and address gaps or inefficiencies
  • Support quality assurance teams by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation for inspections and reviews. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for document-related queries from internal teams, clients, and contractors
  • Generate regular reports on document status, including pending approvals, revisions, and distribution logs
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in document control, preferably in aviation or large infrastructure projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Additional Information:
  • Certification in quantity surveying or cost management (e.g., RICS, CIQS, or equivalent). 
  • Experience in managing cost control for live environments, such as operational airports or malls. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to manage stakeholders and contractors.
