Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrical Maintenance – Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. 

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams will drive process enhancements and operational excellence.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 

Experience: 
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.  

Qualifications

Looking for maintenance technicians that understands maintenance is not just a job, but realize it is a career that requires continuous learning and growth, similar to doctors. Doctors work on the body and maintenance works on the equipment for increased uptime and efficiency. 

Education and formal training beyond high school diploma is not required but there is a requirement that the applicant must join our apprenticeship program and go to school.

Electrical technician will be responsible for PMs, maintaining and repairing equipment that range from the latest in technology to legacy equipment with some project and new installation activities

Become competent and proficient in PLC logic and robotics if skillset has not already been acquired

Operate within a team-based work environment that provides ample support for training, skill sharing and acquisition for your development 

Operates in a multi-craft capacity, performs electrical and mechanical maintenance.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude

Support the maintenance organization with PMs and maintenance activities

Experience in a manufacturing industry a plus
