Job description

Description

Program Manager responsible for driving cross-functional program delivery across EMEA infrastructure supply chain operations. Owns coordination and execution of complex, multi-workstream programs spanning logistics, warehousing, vendor management, and data center fulfillment. Reports to Sr Mgr, EMEA AWS Cloud Logistics.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional coordination across internal teams (logistics operations, procurement, engineering, trade compliance, finance) and external partners (carriers, LSPs, warehouse operators, contractors) to deliver program outcomes on time and within scope.

- Build and maintain program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, and milestone trackers that provide clear visibility on status, blockers, and critical path across all active workstreams.

- Establish and own program reporting cadences (WBR/MBR/QBR), synthesizing progress across multiple workstreams into executive-level narratives with clear escalation of risks and decisions required.

- Identify and proactively manage cross-program dependencies, resource conflicts, and sequencing challenges — escalating early and proposing tradeoff options when programs are at risk.

- Design and implement program governance frameworks, intake processes, and delivery mechanisms where none exist — creating repeatable, scalable structures that reduce coordination overhead and drive consistent execution.

- Partner with technical and systems teams to improve program tooling, reporting automation, and data quality — translating manual tracking into scalable solutions.

- Drive continuous improvement across program delivery practices, capturing lessons learned, refining processes, and raising the bar on delivery predictability and stakeholder communication.

- Operate with a high degree of independence, prioritizing based on business impact, managing competing demands across the portfolio, and escalating only when executive decision-making is required.

A day in the life
- Run a cross-functional / regional sync to drive progress on a multi-partner program (e.g., a new warehouse stand-up, a logistics network change, or a capacity expansion initiative), documenting actions and owners.

- Dive deep into a program blocker — pulling together the right stakeholders, diagnosing the root cause, and proposing a path to resolution with clear owners and timelines.

- Update program plans and risk registers, preparing materials for an upcoming leadership review with a clear narrative on what's on track, what's at risk, and what decisions are needed.

- Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams to ensure external partner deliverables are sequenced correctly and SLA commitments are being met.

- Partner with a technology team to scope an automation opportunity that eliminates a recurring manual coordination bottleneck in the program lifecycle.

- Facilitate a retrospective on a recently completed program, capturing what worked, what didn't, and what mechanisms should be adopted for future programs.
