The Challenge You'll Tackle

We're looking for an experienced Python Engineer to join our team and work on scalable, high-impact software solutions. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, building clean and maintainable code, leveraging AI tools in your daily routine, and embedding test automation into every feature you ship, we'd love to hear from you.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
  • Integrate AI tools and assistant workflows into your day-to-day development process to optimize productivity.
  • Implement robust test automation for backend services, APIs, and business logic.
  • Ensure backend readiness and quality support for web and mobile testing teams.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
The Mastery We're Seeking
  • 4+ years of professional experience with Python development.
  • Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering activities (coding, refactoring, test generation).
  • Heavy emphasis on test automation (pytest, unittest) and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
  • Experience with or exposure to mobile testing support, such as testing backend endpoints for iOS/Android apps or integrating API automation for mobile backends.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
  • Solid knowledge of REST APIs and microservice architecture.
  • Experience working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker, containerised applications, and CI/CD automated test pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
Skills That Will Set You Apart
  • Experience with mobile backend services (Firebase, Push Notifications, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures or message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
