Your tasks
- Building and continuously evolving the operating model for our API management platform Apigee;
- Ensuring the stability, availability, and optimal performance of the Apigee platform;
- Concepting and implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions;
- Efficiently managing incidents, problems, and changes to maintain platform integrity;
- Analyzing and resolving technical disruptions, including conducting thorough Root Cause Analysis;
- Automating operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency;
- Providing essential support for deployments and release processes;
- Collaborating closely with Development, Cloud, Network, and Security teams;
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks;
- Supporting the establishment of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and reliability practices;
- Working in an Agile team setup.
Your profile
- Solid experience with Terraform and IaC best practices;
- Solid experience in containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker);
- Strong understanding and experience in operating business-critical applications or platforms and knowledge of API Gateways;
- Extensive experience with CI/CD processes and practices;
- Deep knowledge in cloud environments, ideally GCP and Azure;
- Good knowledge in Monitoring (Dynatrace, Kibana, Elasticsearch, etc);
- Deep understanding of network technologies and security fundamentals;
- Ability to manage incidents, changes and problems effectively within an ITIL-aligned framework;
- Designing and implementing backup, recovery and disaster recovery concepts;
- Familiar with API Standards (REST, OAuth, MCP);
- High sense of responsibility and reliability;
- Demonstarting self-initiative and a hands-on mentality;
- Good analytic thinking with attention to details to solve problems;
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
- University degree in IT or relevant.
