Job description

As a Senior Python Developer, you will:
  • Design, develop, and support scalable Python-based applications and microservices
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
  • Prepare functional and technical specification documents
  • Develop and maintain APIs using FastAPI and microservices architecture
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure application quality and reliability
  • Work on solution design, deployment planning, and post-implementation hyper-care support
  • Prepare cut-over and deployment plans for project releases
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and spike creation for upgrade projects
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Support containerized deployments using Docker, AKS, and Helm
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in Python development and support projects
  • Strong expertise in Python programming and FastAPI
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
  • Strong proficiency in Kafka messaging systems
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure and OCI
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Strong experience with Docker, AKS, and Helm
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as SAFe Agile, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
You Should Possess the Ability to:
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Handle rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and coordinate development activities
  • Deliver scalable and high-quality applications
