development.
Job Description
The SIM-HyperMesh interfaces many solver
profiles like, Optistruct, Radioss, LsDyna, Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, Pamcrash
etc. Each of these solvers have their own format, which our product supports in
reading and writing for subsequent model building and model setup.
To support this, the team has already developed reader and writer modules:
- Readers process solver-generated
data - Writers generate output data in
solver-specific formats
These modules must handle large-scale data
efficiently and be designed with modularity and performance in mind.
The current project for which we are
seeking new positions, focuses on:
- Enhancing and generalizing the existing reader/writer
architecture - Implementing a configuration-driven framework using
external configuration files - Improving usability through better graphical representation and
user experience
This role requires strong C++
programming, scripting skills, and debugging capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and technical specifications
- Design and implement solutions in C++ following best
practices - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality code
- Perform unit testing and develop verification tests
- Debug and optimize existing modules
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related
field - Strong programming skills in C++
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., Python,
Tcl, Shell) - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to solve engineering and technical problems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
- Willingness to learn and work with multiple programming
languages
