Position Summary

The Extra Help Program Coordinator (Project Coordinator) provides project-based support within the Office of Advising Development and Student Systems to support a variety of projects with a primary focus on advising development and student success. They will manage projects, develop project materials and resources, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. The position requires strong project management, organizational, communication, and design skills, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Design and create professional materials, including presentations, training resources, communications, workflow documentation, reports, and visual content.
  • Conduct research, gather information, and prepare summaries, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Coordinate project meetings, track action items, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and records.
  • Collaborate with campus partners, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Utilize sound judgment and independent decision-making to advance project objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)
  3. Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may be required.
